Customer Service

A show room. There is a service counter and some bright, vague posters saying NEW! and JUST IN!
There is a display of brochures. Beside the counter there is a small step stool. There are products on shelves, but we can’t see them. On the counter is a remote control device.

MR JOHNSON stands at the counter, doing some paperwork.

BEN and NATALIE enter, look around at the decor.

BEN

They’ve changed since the last time we were in here.

NATALIE

Now we won’t be able to find anything.

BEN

Spiffed it right up. Maybe they got a new owner.

NATALIE

I hope so. The last guy had a...look.

BEN

I didn’t notice.

NATALIE

You were busy smelling the new-leather smell.

BEN

I love that smell.

JOHNSON

There’s an app for that now.

BEN

There is?

JOHNSON

Right in your phone. Five leather types, from biker to sports car to cowboy. Creaking sound effects, too. How are you folks today?
